KP-8 is a matrix-oriented synthesizer programming interface. KP-8 is similar in layout to the Dave Smith Evolver or the Waldorf Blofeld.
KP-8 is not a synthesizer. The programming interface has been designed to simplify programming of vintage synthesizers with limited interfacing options. The matrix format enables the user to quickly control a wide range of parameters from a relatively small-format physical interface.
